Discover our family estate nestled in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards. We are located on the wonderful Alsace Wine Route. The village of Katzenthal is famous for its vineyards and benefits from a particularly favorable micro-climate that makes the reputation of its wines.
We carefully produce wines from seven Alsatian grape varieties and also selections of noble grains, late harvests, and appellations of origin controlled Alsace. Our estate covers 6 hectares of vineyards mainly located on the slopes of Katzenthal.
My family is part of the history of the vineyard since 1664. My great grandfather was a cooper and winemaker. During the Second World War, Katzenthal was bombed and suffered heavy destruction.
My grandfather Justin rebuilt the farm and the vineyard from 1951. He took great care of his 6 hectares of vines with my grandmother Reine, and brought his grapes to the Bennwihr cooperative cellar.
In 1979, my father Jean-Luc took over the exploitation and began to vinify his wines and to market it with his cousin Clément until 1999. Then, he continued this great adventure alongside my mother Michèle, who created cottages in Katzenthal.
From 2008, I took over the family farm after my studies and since then we have been working on all three of them.
